Wedding hair tips

On your special day you deserve the best! So here are a few tips and hints to help you get the most out of your wedding day do.

Firstly you should think about having a hair test, a kind of dry run for the main event. This should let you try out three or four different hairstyles, preferably several weeks ahead of the wedding itself. Make sure your stylist knows what your headpiece will look like if you're wearing one, and let your stylist know what you're going to be wearing.

Don't be shy about taking advice from the stylist, while it's important that you're happy with everything they have lots of experience in what they do! Try out a few different options to see which one suits what you want the most.

Take a few photos to look at later! If you can get your bridesmaids along you can talk about co-ordinating hairstyles as well, to fit the general feel of the wedding. Also, wear something with buttons so you don't have to pull a top over your new hairstyle/

Communication with your stylist is vital, while you may know what you mean by "bouncy" they might not, so let them know with photos for reference.

Keep in mind that your dress will interact with your hairdo, so something "up" might not work with a strapless or low neckline wedding dress.

Above all else, enjoy your wedding day from us at Pazam hair studios!

I recommend Kaleigh! Got my hair done for a basketball event the first weekend in November. I struggle to keep curls in my hair but Kaleigh did a fantastic job and it lasted the whole night without dropping at all. Delighted with it and will definitely be back next time I’m in Galway! Sorry we forgot to take a photo with Joanna and post it to your page....
